HOW TO CHECK THE FINGER SIZE AT HOME?
Prepare a thread or a thin strip of paper and a ruler.
Wrap the thread around the finger you want to wear the ring on.
Mark the place where the thread joins each other.
Unwind and check the thread length in centimeters.
Compare the result with our size chart.
Take the measurement several times to be sure, every mm matters.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FINGER SIZE?
Print the PDF version of the ring sizer making sure the document is printed at actual size (100%). After printing, check the scale below:
Equip yourself with a ruler, and place it on the gradations of your document. The scale is correct when the gradations of the document and those of your ruler are perfectly aligned.
In order to be able to make the best use of our size guide, we recommend that you download and print the PDF version of the ring sizer.
If you do not have a printer or if you have any doubts about your finger size, you can go to a store, they will measure your size with pleasure and precision!
Finally, be aware that if the size is not correct, LAU will offer the first size adjustment within 100 days of your order as well as the associated shipping costs.
Select one of your rings that perfectly matches the size of the finger on which you want to wear your LAU creation. It is important to take into account the thickness of the frame since a large ring will require a size larger than a conventional ring. Remember that your right and left hand sizes are different.
Place your ring on the circles below. When the black circle touches the inside of your ring, it corresponds to your finger size. The inner perimeter of the ring must be perfectly aligned with the outer contour of the circle.
THE 4 RULES OF PERFECT SIZING
1 • Each finger of the right hand and the left hand has a different measure.
To take your finger size, be sure to choose a ring that you wear
usually on the finger you want to measure.
2 • The ambient temperature of a room has an influence on your finger size.
To use the ring sizer below, choose a reference ring that suits you perfectly
when your hands are rather cold. This will allow your future ring to fit properly
in case of temperature rise.
3 • The morphology of your finger is important!
If your knuckle is wider than the rest of your finger, you need to take your size so that the ring show a slight resistance when you put it on.
If the base of your finger is wider than the tip, choose a reference ring that fits the level with the base of your finger or take your size there.
If the tip, knuckle, and base of your finger are the same width, then you can simply refer to a ring that you usually wear on that finger.
4 • If you plan to order a fairly large ring (4mm and larger),
you can add a size to your finger size for more comfort.
